Obituary of Gracie Ellen Rose Nance

Gracie Ellen Rose Nance, 23 months of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, February 5, 2020, at Cardinal Glennon Hospital with her parents holding her. Gracie was born March 2, 2018, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Gaige D. Nance and Courtney Lynn Rice. Gracie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donnie Rice, grandmother, Loretta Sneed, great-grandfather, Don Rosentreter and great-grandparents, Rich and Anita Sue Rice. Gracie was a ray of sunshine, caring, smart and a true blessing to her family. She loved to lay with her mommy and daddy and was an inspiration to her sisters. Gracie enjoyed children's television shows and roll around in the back yard. Private family funeral services will be held at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Cross Church in Carlinville, IL.Private family services will be held at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Burial will follow in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville. Gracie is survived by her father, Gaige D. Nance of Carlinville, IL, mother, Courtney Lynn Rice of Carlinville, IL, sisters, Riley Anita Marie and Chloe Loretta Ann Nance, grandmother, Margy Rice of Carlinville, IL, grandparents, Jerry and Donnette Nance of Carlinville, great-grandmother, Theresa Rosentreter of Carlinville, IL, great-grandparents, Donald and Marilyn Hill of Chesterfield, IL and a host of cousins and people who loved her.
