Donna Davenport, 70, of Girard, passed away Thursday morning, April 16, 2020 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Donna was born on September 13, 1949 to Gerald and Geneva (Hensley) Reneau in Terre Haute, IN. She married Ward Davenport in 1972 and they later divorced but remained close friends.
Donna worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed word search, gardening, collecting antiques and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna is survived by two sons, Gerald (Judith) Davenport of Girard, IL, and Robert (Denise) Davenport of Kirkville, NY; daughter, Tammy (companion, Roman Hubble) Davenport of Springfield, IL; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters, June (Stanley) LaFountain of Ilion, NY, and Helen (Richard) Hall of Old Forge, NY, as well as a brother, Robert Reneau of Lowville, NY.
Donna was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Davenport, and brother, Charles Reneau.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
