Condolences
My deepest sympathy to all of Dorothy's family. She was an awesome lady. Back when we all attended Brighton Presbyterian, she was the choir director. To this day, I still don't understand why she thought I should sing a solo in church with the choir. That was my one and only solo! She had a beautiful voice! Plus I don't know how'd I would have gotten along without all her sewing ability. From high school dances, any wedding I was in, plus every pair of pants I owned, always needed shortened, she was right there to help me out.Even when she first moved to Carlinville, in her apartment, I was still taking clothes to her to be altered. She was the best!! My prayers go out to the family for their loss. God received an angel with Dorothy! Wendy Davis Krause
So sorry to read this. My condolences to Gary, Carol and their families. I had so many great memories of your mom when our group of girls would spend time at your house with Barb when we were in Jr. High and High School. She was so good to us. Rosie Kahl Bagley
Sending heartfelt condolences to Dorothy’s family and friends. She was such a kind women and I wish I knew her longer. She loved her family and I can see it in her eyes and smile when she was around them. Her stories were one of a kind! You will be missed greatly. All my love to everyone who has been blessed knowing her.
I first met Dorothy when she and I were both volunteers for the Heart Program at the Primary school years ago. We would walk around the track afterwards and visit as we exercised. I later saw her again when she was a resident of Heritage Manor. My husband was a resident too at the time. My husband passed away in Feb. of 2018 and I only saw her occasionally when I visited with the residents I knew there. I always enjoyed visiting with her. I am sure you have many special memories too.
Gary and family,
I am sorry to learn of Dorothy's passing. I enjoyed working with her in my office. She was so sweet and always wore a smile. I remember visiting with her at Heritage when I went to see my mom. She will be missed.

All of you have my deepest sympathy. Dorothy was a good friend and was so kind to me as she was to all who knew her. Her many skills were appreciated and loved as my family and I did her. Many good memories of her and Dean in Brighton. She will be missed. Mona Fones
