Cheryl D. Hinckle, 73, of Girard, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2020 at Carlinville Rehab and Health Care in Carlinville, IL.
Cheryl was born on May 4, 1947, the youngest of four daughters, to Kenneth and Nellie (Jent) Hinckle in Johnston City, IL.
Cheryl enjoyed listening to 50'snd 60's rock and roll music, coloring, and watching movies, especially scary movies. In her early years, Cheryl lived in Girard, and later moved to Nebraska to be with her sister. She returned home to Girard in her later years.
Cheryl is survived by her sister, Judy Young of Girard, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Nellie Hinckle; sisters, Arletta Adams and Joan O'Neill.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard.
Graveside Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Girard Cemetery, Girard, IL, with Rev. Marty Nagel, officiating.
Memorials are suggested to either the Alzheimer's Association or to Girard Fire and Rescue.
