Condolences
Bob, Vicky, Judy, and families. With deepest sympathy, from my family to yours, in the loss of Don
Will miss visiting with Don as we rode to/from Carl's grocery store and Jubelts bakery (years ago). We would "catch up" on family. He was always such a pleasant person. We also remember Don keeping the square mowed and looking so nice. Wonder how many people passed thru Carlinville and seeing Don smiling and waving commented "the people of this town are certainly friendly ". RIP Don
Bob, Judy, and Vickie, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing. Your whole family was always so warm and friendly. I think of you all from time to time when I think of younger years in C'ville. Again, I feel saddened over your loss and my prayers are with you. John
We have lost a very special person. Growing up my children, Stephanie and Andrew, always looked for Donnie and welcomed his smile and wave. If by chance we didn't see him, they always wanted me to "go find him". May you rest in peace Donnie - The Schroeder's
Sorry sorry to hear of Don Passing. He was alway friendly and had a smile for you which brighted the day.
I will always remember Don's smile and also how kind he was to my grandfather, Earl Fanning, especially, on the day of his funeral. RIP, Don.
Bob, Judy, Vicky and families... So sorry to hear about Don. What a kind person he was...always a smile and a wave to everyone that passed by him. Many wonderful memories of all of you growing up on West 1st South Street...Your mom made the most wonderful cinnamon bread. Great times and wonderful memories. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. Our condolences to the family. We will miss Don's smiling face and that welcome wave. May he rest in peace.
Dave & I have known Don for many, many years. He was such a kind and gentle person. We always enjoyed visiting with him and will miss him very much. Rest in peace, Don.
We extend our sympathies to Don's family. It was always such a pleasure to receive and return his friendly smile and wave. His love for the residents of Carlinville, and his service to the city will long be remembered. Jim & Nancy Schien
As many have mentioned it was always a joy to see his smile and wave. We know he is now in a better place.
We are so sorry to learn of Don's passing, he was a very special guy in town who never knew a stranger. His friendly, pleasant ways will be long remembered by Carlinville.
I'm sorry to hear of Don's passing. He's been a "constant" around town for so long, always with a wave and a smile.
We are so sorry to hear that Don wont be around to wave at us any more as we drive by. He was always happy & smiling. He will be missed! Please accept our sympathy.
