Glenn R. Cherry
73, of Virden passed away Saturday morning, September 1, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
Glenn was born March 31, 1939, in Girard, IL, a son of Harold and Nellie (Bell) Cherry.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry.
Glenn attended Girard High School. He worked as a Truck Driver for the Weldon Trucking for several years and retired in 2003.
Surviving are his daughter, Lori Ann (Gary) Cross of Edwardsville, daughter, Stacey DeSilva of Auburn, daughter, Candi Sue (James) Hammond of Palmyra, daughter, Kathy Jean (Nick) Chronis of Brownsville, TX, son, John (Brigitta Rothe) Cherry of Girard, 11 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister, Corrine Fitzgerald of Girard. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, September 8, 2012, Church of the Brethren in Girard.
Burial will be in Girard Cemetery. Donations Information
