Tonda Jane Damm
50, of Girard, passed away Friday morning, June 28, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, IL.
Tonda was born on October 9, 1962 to Thomas and Nancy (Daniels) Damm in Litchfield, IL.
Tonda worked as a CNA at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard for 16 years. She was always happy and made friends easily. Tonda enjoyed her friends, crocheting, reading and loved her grandkids.
Tonda is survived by her daughter, Tamarra (Jay) Watts of Girard; son, David Shanks of Rushville; 3 grandchildren; her father, Thomas Damm of Girard; 9 brothers, Tommy Damm of Virden, Eddie Damm of Girard, Randy Damm of Roodhouse, Lyn Damm of Girard, Timmy Damm of Roodhouse, Darrin (Jenny) Damm of Girard, Aaron (Companion, Amanda) Damm of Litchfield, Keith Damm of Roodhouse, Tony Damm of Litchfield; 3 sisters, Kim (Danny) Ginder of Girard, Lilly (Derek) Beams of Interlachen, FL and Ramona (Jim) Eggiman of Salisbury, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Damm. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held on Monday July 1, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the First Christian Church in Girard with funeral services following at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jake Butcher officiating. Donations Information
