Dottie E. Greeley
Dorothy E "Dottie" Greeley, 64, of Carlinville, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Wednesday, October 10, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of Eaird A. and Mildred E. (Tinsley) Coffey. Dottie graduated from Palmyra High School with the Class of 1963.
She married Elvin E "Bud" Greeley at the Macoupin County Court House on July 13, 1993.
She was Dietician for Memorial Medical Center for 20 years and was the Employee of the Quarter in 2000 .
Dottie was a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed cooking, tanning and shopping, but not as much as she enjoyed her family and especially her grandkids. In 1984 Dottie was nominated for the Mother of the Year Award.
She is survived by her husband Bud Greeley, Daughters, Tammy Justice (Sean) of Remington , IN, Wendy Farley (Shaun) of Clinton, IN, Son, Todd Wellhausen (Kristy) of Girard, IL, Step-daughters, Tracy Vaughn of Chesterfield, IL, Shelly Wittman of Palmyra, IL, half- brother Walter Thompson of Carlinville, IL, 14 Grandchildren,1 Great-Grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral Information
Friends may call two hours prior to funeral services, from 9:00 to 11:00am.
Funeral services are at 11:00am, Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL with Rev. David Collins officiating.
Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery, Rural Carlinville. Pall Bearers will be Todd Wellhausen, Simeon Vaughn, Bill Thompson, Fred Scheldt, Sean Justice and Shaun Fraley. Donations Information
