Ruth Hoppin Gregurich 99 of Pawnee passed away Thursday morning, July 2, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, IL. Ruth was born January 25, 1916, in Pawnee, IL, a daughter of Frank and Maude (Sloman) Hoppin. She married Andrew M. Gregurich November 8, 1935 in Pawnee and he passed away September 1994. Ruth was a homemaker and farmwife. She was a lifetime member of the Zenobia Baptist Church in rural Pawnee where she was active in various church activities. Ruth and Andrew enjoyed traveling the United States country side. Ruth is survived by her sons, Robert (Rachel) Gregurich of Evansville, IN, and William (Aleda) Gregurich of Auburn, IL, daughter, Debra Cooper of Blackwell, OK., 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 1:00-2:30 pm at the New Life Family Church in Auburn where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Tad Gregurich officiating . Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Donations Information Memorials may be made to Pawnee Education Fund or New Life Family Church.
