Obituary of Sean L. Armstrong

Sean L. Armstrong 44, of Auburn, passed away Thursday morning, October 31, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Sean was born on June 13, 1969 to John "Larry" Armstrong and Patricia White in Springfield, IL. Sean was a 1987 graduate of Virden High School and on June 17, 1989 he married Kim Bowers at the Country View Christian Church in Virden. Sean worked at several restaurants in Springfield. He was the head of the janitorial department at Rocki's in Auburn and loved his family and friends. Sean liked to work outside, garden and loved his dogs. Sean is survived by his wife, Kim Armstrong of Auburn; father, John "Larry" (Gwen) Armstrong of Springfield, IL; mother, Patricia White of Taylorville, IL; sister, Rebecca (Jesse) Davis of Langleyville, IL; step brother, Jeremy Stelte of Springfield, IL, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Armstrong and step sister, Kim Stelte. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Prairie Temple Assembly of God Church in Virden with a memorial service following at 11:00 at the church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Girard. Donations Information Memorials are to the MS Society or the Animal Protective League.
