I enjoyed getting to know Lyle while I worked for a short time at Heritage Manor. I wish that I had the chance to know him before Alzheimers took him from all of you. We know that although you had lost him a little at a time, this is still painful to say "goodbye". Our prayers are with all of you.

Lyle was a wonderful person and he always had a humorous and compassionate side. His family and his music was the loves of his life. He will be missed. God bless all of you.

Lyle was a hell of a trombone player! I used to sit 3rd chair to him years and years ago in the Muni Band here in Carlinville. He was always up for whatever George Ried would throw at him...I'm sure he'll be missed by a lot of friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
