Obituary of Mildred L. Hall

Mildred L. Hall 93, of Tallahassee FL, formerly of Nilwood, passed away Saturday morning, August 4, 2012 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL. Mildred was born on February 13, 1919 to George and Minnie (Shores) Crawford in South Otter Township. On October 21, 1939 she married Arlie Lynn Hall in Missouri. Lynn preceded her in death on September 4, 1982. Mildred worked at Nilwood Elevator for many years and she and her husband owned Hall's Grocery Store in Nilwood from 1962-1972. Mildred then worked at the Nilwood Post Office and later at the Carlinville ASCS office until retirement. She loved to play cards. Mildred is survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, as well as a sister, Mary England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn; parents, George and Minnie; sons, Burton and Roger Hall, as well as several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in Girard Cemetery, with Steve Ford officiating. There will be no visitation. To celebrate her life, family and friends will gather at the Nilwood Baptist Church immediately following the service for brunch.
