Obituary of Frances Ann Herzberger

Frances Ann "Fran" Herzberger 83, of Carlinville, passed away Thursday morning, June 27, 2013 at Heritage Health Care in Carlinville. Fran was born on September 6, 1929 to Ernset and Jenny (Gray) Feltwell in Paris Island, SC. She graduated in Port Royal, S.C. in 1947 and on April 18, 1997 she married Spencer Herzberger in Carlinville and he survives. Fran worked for the United States Goverment Department of Labor in Washington DC and later became a loan officer for the Perpetual Savings & Loan in Washington, DC. She was also a charter member of the Health Promotion Center and loved traveling, cooking, baking, walking and being outdoors. Fran is survived by her husband, Spencer Herzberger of Carlinville; daughter, Deborah Hartwick of Greenbelt, MD; granddaughter, Jessica Hartwick; 2 great grandsons, Avery and Von Skaggs and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernset and Jenny Feltwell, as well as 2 brothers and a sister. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Kevin Strope officiating. Burial will take place in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
