Obituary of Diane M. Huyear

Diane M. Huyear Diane M. Huyear, 67, of Carlinville, passed away the morning of Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. Diane was born Tuesday, December 14, 1943 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Myron B.and Fae (Marsh) McWard. She married Joseph H Huyear at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carlinville on April 28, 1972. Diane graduated from Greenfield High School and SIU Edwardsville. She held a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Special Education. Diane retired in 1999 after 28 years in the Carlinville School District. Diane was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church and the Retired Teachers Association. Diane enjoyed antique auctions and flea markets but her true joy was found playing with her grandchildren. Survivors include husband, Joseph H Huyear, daughter, Joanna Renee Schemerhorn (Brett) of Winterville, NC, granddaughters, Emma, Molly, and Lana Schemerhorn, mother, Fae McWard of Palmyra, sister, Elaine Sanders of Carlinville, brother, Bill McWard of Lake Charles, IL, brother, David McWard of Palmyra, IL, sister, Annabell Reese (Walter) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father. Funeral Information Graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2011at New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville.
