Lucille Kessinger 96 of Carlinville, passed away Tuesday evening, May 12, 2015, at Heritage Manor in Carlinville, IL. Lucille was born November 13, 1918, in Algona, IA, a daughter of Ross and Florence Johnson Calhoun. She married William J. "Bill" Kessinger February 5, 1943 in St. Charles, MO. Bill passed away November 15, 2002. Lucille worked at Wal-Mart in Carlinville for several years as a greeter. She enjoyed spending time with younger people, was a second "Mom" to many. On the weekends you could always find Bill and Lucille on a dance floor. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Pam (Dale) Hodge of Saint Charles, MO, 3 step-grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Delores Calhoun of Algona, IA, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Charity Baptist Church in rural Carlinville. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Charity Baptist Church.
