Obituary of Jeffrey L. Kuntzman

Jeffrey L. Kuntzman 61, of Virden passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at his residence in Virden, IL. Jeff was born October 11, 1951, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Estel and Ethel (Janssen) Kuntzman. Jeff graduated from Virden High School with the class of 1969 and continued his education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he obtained his Masters Degree. Jeff served his country by serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Virden since his youth. Jeff enjoyed watching all sports, especially the U of I Fighting Illini and has followed the St. Louis Cardinals since his high school days. Jeff worked in the construction and maintenance field while he resided in Conneticut. Surviving are his mother, Ethel Kuntzman of Virden, IL, sister, Martha L. (David) Kemp of Powder Springs, GA, sister, Laurel L. (Bill) Law of Chatham, IL, brother, Nathan L. Kuntzman of Virden, IL and several nieces and nephews. Jeff is preceded in death by his father and infant sister Linda. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Saturday, July 06, 2013 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at Virden United Methodist Church. There will be a private family burial at Virden Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Virden Library.
