Ollie I. Laycock Ollie I. Laycock, age 82, of Carlinville passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Carlinville Rehab Center. She was born March 22, 1926 in Nortonville, IL the daughter of the late Howard and Hallie H. (Hartsook) Turner. On December 24, 1945 she married C. Leroy Laycock at the Methodist parsonage in Palmyra and he passed February 10, 2001. Their daughter Janet died less than a month after Leroy on March 5, 2001. The Laycock family returned to Illinois in 1995 after residing in California for 35 years. Ollie was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville, and had been the 2nd vice-president of the Soroptomist Club and member of the Chamber of Commerce in LaHabra, CA. She was also a member of the Republic Womens Club. Ollie was a Realetor and owner of All American Reality in LaHabra, CA for 14 years. Surviving are: Sister Ilene Mansfield of Carlinville Several Nieces and Nephews and Friend Bill Beard and Family She will laid to rest at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Information Friends may call Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 1:30 until the time of service at 2:30 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home Carlinville.
