Isabel (Borman) Mau Isabel M. Mau, 82 of Streator passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator, IL. She was born in Atwater on February 20, 1926 to the late Victor and Nellie (Marko) Borman. She married Darwyn Mau on December 26, 1947. He passed away on December 29, 1995. Isabel sold Avon for many years. She was a member of Park Presbyterian Church in Streator, the American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, an active bowler and was involved with Light Up Streator. She graduated from Alton High School in 1944. Survivors include one son Philip Mau of Streater, IL and one daughter Terry Jeanne Lastovicka (John) of Chandler, AZ. There are two grandchildren, Ian Lastovicka and Maura Lastovicka. Preceeding Isabel in death are brothers Carl and Ralph Borman. There are also several neices and nephews surviving. Funeral Information Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mayfield Cemetery in Carlinville, IL. Donations Information Memorials may be made to Park Presbyterian Church or the Nature Conservancy.
