Obituary of Nora J. O'Neil

Nora J. O'Neil Nora J. O'Neil, age 90 of Carlinville passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born in Plainview, IL, daughter of the late Fritz and Augusta (Runge) Freytag. On September 6, 1939 she married John C. O'Neil at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carlinville. John died December 2, 1983. During World War #2 Nora worked at Western Cartridge in Alton, IL. She later was employed at Carlinville Glove Factory and Carlinville Area Hospital in the laundry department until 1982. Nora was a true Elvis fan and she loved to dance. She loved to spend time with young people and especially her nieces and nephews. She is survived by: Sister Minnie Eskew and husband Gene of Hillsboro, IL. Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Information Private family visitation and graveside service will be held. Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:15 A.M. Graveside Service: 10:30 A.M. at New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville, IL.
