Obituary of Roger L. Perino

Roger L. Perino 38, of Standard City, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born Tuesday, January 25, 1972 in Springfield, IL, the son of Peter J. and Lila (Reed) Perino. Roger graduated in 1990 from Carlinville High School. Roger was Scale Master and Supervisor for Pioneer Seed Company in Litchfield for over 10 years. Roger had been employeed by Pocklington and Patriott Seed Companies. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed gardening, yard work, drag racing, NHRA, classic cars and his Dodge Truck. Survivors: mother, Lila Perino of Carlinville, brothers, James Perino (Carol) of Chicago, IL, Donald J. Perino (Deb) of Carlinville, IL, Peter J. Perino III (Pauline) of Yorktown, VA, and sister, Angela (Perino) Brockmiller (Companion: Alec Longmeyer) of Greenfield, special friend Mary Ann Kershaw of Carlinville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Peter J. Perino. Funeral Information Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 4 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home Carlinville. Burial will be in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
