Obituary of Clara B. Pritchard

Clara B. Pritchard 77, of Carlinville passed away, Wednesday afternoon, July 24, 2013, at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. Clara was born December 9, 1935, in Fulton County, IL , a daughter of Fred H. and Clara Marie (Vin Camp) Churchill. Clara married Zane Pritchard on December 27, 1959 in Canton, IL and he passed away July 10, 2003. Clara graduated from Cuba High School with the class of 1954 and Illinois State College in Normal in 1958. Clara was a high school and middle school teacher retiring from Carlinville Unit District #1 in 2001. She taught 6th grade and home economics. She was a member of the Carlinville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Alpha Delta, Kappa, and Retired Teachers Association. Clara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Kathryn Ann Pritchard, brother; Jerry A. Churchill and sister; Alice A. Tessier. Surviving are her sons, Steven Zane and Thomas Michael Pritchard of Carlinville; brother, Donald G. (Elda) Churchill of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Mary K. (Glen) Medus of Canton, IL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 3:00 to 6:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral Services will take place 11:00 am, Monday,July 29, 2013, Carlinville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials may be made to Carlinville United Methodist Church or Carlinville Food Pantry.
