Condolences
Al and I met in high school in Granite City and had been friends for many years. We had many good times together in high school and beyond, attending many dances with our friends at my parent's home during our high school years.
I lost track of Al after moving away from the area and did not reconnect with him until our 45th high school reunion in 2005. It was great seeing him again and we stayed in-touch via e-mail.
I am deeply sadened by Al's passing, but will be eternally grateful for having known him, for having many hours of fun with him and for having him as a friend.
I will miss my friend forever. My life has been blessed by his presence in it. I am truly a better person for knowing him. I am consoled by the thought that I will certainly see him again. So long, my friend, 'til we meet again in the sweet by and by. God bless us, one and all.
"This too, shall pass." "Peace, be still."
To the Pritchett Family, OUR CONDOLENCES Al will be missed at the ELKS and Friends OF, but remember the MEMORIES will never be forgotten. Wil & Elaine
My husband and I are campers and met Al 2 years ago. He had such a happy personality and even though we didn't know him well every time we met he always had a smile on his face. Our prayers are with his family and friends who knew him well.
We were so blessed to have Al in our lives, because he touched so many! We will always be grateful for the years he spent with my mother, Ann Link. They had wonderful times together; going places, doing different things, having great conversations all on topics. Al was so involved with the Elks Lodges in Carlinville and Granite City. He will be missed by so many.
