Ann Reynolds
83, of Carlinville, formerly of Chesterfield , passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville.
Ann was born Sunday, March 2, 1928 in Chesterfield, IL, the daughter of Floyd Chester and Annie Laura (Trill) Rands.
Ann graduated from Medora High School with the class of 1948.
She married Charles Mervin Reynolds in Chesterfield, IL on September 4, 1949 and he passed away May 7, 1982.
Ann spent her time caring for her three children and assisting with the various activities in her community. Ann was a member of the Home Extension and Chesterfield Bible Church where she was very active with Vacation Bible School, Bible classes and other church activities. Ann was known for helping others, gardening and her sewing projects.
Survivors: daughter, Debbie Rhoads of Carlinville, daughter, Sherry Hunter, husband Howard of Conroe, TX, son, Charles Douglas Reynolds of Ft. Worth, TX, grandchildren; David & Carrie Rhoads, Jonathan & Ashley Hunter, Kristen & Rebecca Reynolds, great grandsons; Christopher & Logan Hunter, sisters, Pauline Roller and Dorothy Arnett of Carlinville, IL, brothers, Howard of Brighton, IL Marvin Carlinville, IL and Bud Rands of Califonria. Several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by parents, husband and sister, Margie Crouch. Funeral Information
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 24 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.
Funeral service will be held after visitation at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Rhodus officiating.
Burial will take place at Chesterfield Cemetery in Chesterfield, IL. Donations Information
