Obituary of Carl L. Seago

Carl L. Seago 72, of Carlinville, passed away at Monday morning, July 29, 2013 at his residence in Carlinville, IL. Carl was born on July 20, 1941 to Truman and Jesse (Van Court) Seago in Niles, OH. On May 16, 1960 Carl married Alice Beal in Rockford, IL and she survives. Carl worked for Prairie Farms Dairy as a plant worker in Carlinville for 35 years, retiring on September 11, 2003. He was a member of the Macoupin Club, enjoyed his children, grandchildren, local sports, fishing and his 1939 Chevy coupe. Carl is survived by his wife, Alice Seago; 2 sons, Carl Seago Jr. (Debbie) of Gillespie and Kevin Seago (Carrie) of Girard; daughter, Lori Clinton (Lyndal) of Carlinville; 5 grandsons, Jeremy Seago of St. Louis, MO, Gregory Seago (Danielle) of Hillsboro, IL, Tucker Clinton of Carlinville, Chase Seago of Girard and Chandler Seago of Girard; 2 granddaughters, Karissa Seago and Emily Clinton both of Carlinville; brother, Richard Seago of Rockford, IL; sister, Yvonne Gwinn (Ivan) of Carlinville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Samantha Clinton on May 31, 1989. Funeral Information A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Moore Cemetery, rural Carlinville. A celebration of life and open house will be held for family and friends at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Activity Center in Carlinville.
