Earl S. "Ike" Snyder Earl Sidney "Ike" Snyder, 88, of Carlinville, formerly of Edwardsville, IL, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital. He was born Saturday, January 14, 1922 in Bond County, Illinois, the Son of the late Fred Snyder and the late Daisy (Kious) Snyder. He was Crane Operator for Hymom-Michaels in Granite City, IL for many years. He was known as "PaPa Ike" by his grandkids. Survivors: Son, Earl Snyder Jr. (Carol) of Mt. Olive, IL, Daughter, Barbar Sissor of Edwardsville, IL, Son, Nick (Lori) Snyder of Springfield, IL, Daughter, Nova Morgan of Granite City, IL, Son, Fred (Patty) Snyder of Carlinville, IL, Daughter, Helen (Don) Geyder of St. Louis, MO, Son, Charles (Sharon) Reynolds of Granite City, IL, Son, Jeff Reynolds of Granite City, IL, Son, Scott (Dana) Archibald of Ft. Myers, FL, Daughter, Haley Snyder of Granite City, IL, Sixteen Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren, Brother, Marlin (Darleen) Snyder of Springfield, IL, Brother, Eldon Snyder of Hillsboro, IL, Sister, Bessie Kylor of Sacramento, CA. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Mike in infancy, 4 grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 7 brothers. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
