Obituary of James A. Steinman

James A. Steinman age 72 of Carlinville, passed away Monday evening, May 11, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. James was born June 7, 1942, in Guelph, Canada, a son of Alfred and Florence (Shauber) Steinman. James served in the Canadian Air-Force for several years. He married Kathlyn "Kathy" Marie Lamb February 12, 1966 in Canada and she passed away September 19, 2011. James was employed with Bell Telephone Company in Canada before moving to Carlinville to work as an Engineer for Frontier Communications in Carlinville. He enjoyed collecting fine wine, spending time with his family and loved the outdoors. James is survived by his son, Doug (Cheryl) Steinman of London, Ontario Canada, son, Ken Steinman of Tiverton, Ontario Canada, son, Ryan Steinman of London, Ontario Canada, daughter, Shawnnae Steinman of Woodstock, Ontario, son, Bill Steinman of Carlinville, IL, son, Dan (Julie) Duggan of London, Ontario Canada, 13 grandchildren, a great grandson, brother, Bill (Lorraine) Steinman of St. Catherine, Canada, and sister, Ruth (Jeff) Dennis of Port Elgin, Canada. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Thursday evening, May 14, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Canada.
