78, of Hettick passed away, Thursday evening, April 3, 2014, at his residence in Hettick, IL.
Lendell was born August 12, 1935, in Palmyra, IL, the only son of Lewis and Genevieve (Lyerla) Turner.
Lyndell served his country in the Army, stationed in Germany.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Lendell was a retired coal miner from Monterey Coal Mine Carlinville, IL. After retirement he moved to Kentucky and had a small engine repair business. He was a member of the Central City American Legion Post #0061.
Surviving are his daughter, Kim (Dan) Heinisch of Virden, IL, son, Marvin Turner of Virden, IL, son, Vincent Turner of Virden, IL, daughter, Mena Morris of Virden, IL, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister, Jean (Vincent) Clevenger of Carlinville, IL, a nephew and constant companion Julia Walden of Hettick, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, Il from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Donations Information
