Murile J. VanHuss
50 of Carlinville, passed away Sunday morning, November 16, 2014 at his residence in Carlinville, IL.
Murile was born on April 13, 1964 to James and Wonnetta (Johnston) VanHuss in Carlinville. He married Kelly McDaniels on March 16, 1990 and they later divorced.
Murile worked for the city of Carlinville as a laborer in the street and water departments for 24 years. He also served on the Carlinville Police Department and the Macoupin County Sheriff's Department. Murile was a member of the Carlinville Moose Lodge from 1993 to present and was past Governor. He was an Avid NASCAR and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed family time. Murile loved to entertain friends and family.
Murile is survived by his companion, Traci Hammann of Carlinville; mother, Wonnetta Springman of Carlinville; daughter, Tamara ( boyfriend, David Corrow II) Jackson of Weekiwachee, FL; son, Josh (girlfriend, Dawn Lefler) McDaniles of Carlinville; granddaughter, Stormy Jackson; two sisters, Mary (Harry) Carver of Bridgeton, MO, Crystal (Possum) Harper of Buckhannon, WV; brother, John (Bonnie) Springman of Carlinville, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Murile was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Lindell VanHuss. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville with Moose Rites being conducted at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville with Rev. Cliff Woodman officiating.
Burial will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville. Donations Information
