Condolences
I was sad to hear of the Weatherford's no longer being in Carlinville. The were very hospitable to me when I was a student at BLACKBURN COLLEGE in 1958. I was back at B.U. last Friday to speak to a Brown Bag Lunch group to tell what Blackburn was like for me as a Non-Presbyterian (an evangelical Christian believer and member of The Church of the Nazarene). I went on to a 4-year Bible School and co-pastored a small independent house church down in East Nashville, Tenn., while earning a living in Graphic Artist & Printing at National Life Insurance. I've retired and live in my boyhood home in Urbana, where I distribute Christian pamphlets by World Missionary Press in 300 LANGUAGES. I have great memories of dinner at The Weatherford's in that beautiful old house.
I read of your mother's passing from the Hillsboro Journal online edition. My thoughts and prayers our with you, Janie and Jim and the rest of your family. Former Adm/Marketing Director Sunshine Manor 1998-2002
Kathy, Janie, Jeri and Ennio- You have all been in our thoughts and prayers. Loved Aunt Shirley so much. I always felt at home there and know she and Uncle J would do anything for me. Her last words to me in her soft sweet whisper were "He Won" always to be cherished. So blessed to have had her in my life. Looking forward to the day when we are all together again. Love to you -
Cathy, Janie, Jeri & Families,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was sure a very dear lady. My Mom, Opal, thought a lot of your Mother and Father as I did. You and your families are in my prayers at this time of sorrow.
i WORKED FOR SHIRLEY AND JT A LONG TIME AGO, THEY WERE. SPECIAL PEOPLE, LOVED THEM VERY MUCH
Janie and family, My memories of your mother go back to Sunshine Manor and the love that filled that home when your parents were there. What a kind, caring and beautiful lady! My thoughts are with you and all your family.

Janie and Family,

Knowing God is holding the family in the palm of His hands, His love and comfort will carry you.
