Obituary of Carolyn Sue Williamson

Carolyn Sue Williamson 65, of Carlinville, passed away Friday afternoon May 17, 2013 at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL. Carolyn was born on September 5, 1947 to Rolly and Cora (Goodwin) Giberson in Litchfield, IL. She married John V. Williamson on June 3, 1968 in Carlinville and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2004. Carolyn had worked at several area nursing homes as a CNA and she enjoyed painting, crocheting, and watching TV. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Patty Sue Snyder (Fred) of Carlinville; 2 granddaughters, Katelynn & Alyssa Snyder; 2 sisters, Beulah Gansz ( Bob) and Betty Adams both of Carlinville; brother, William Giberson (Alice) of Mendota, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Frank E. Giberson. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Mitchell Cemetery, rural Carlinville. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to the Friendship Home.
