Obituary of Toni Marlene Woods

Toni Marlene Woods 63, of Carlinville, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Heritage Manor. She was born Saturday, February 21, 1948 in Fresno, CA, the daughter of Charles Warren Osborn and the late Mary Lou (Brown) Emlet. Toni graduated from Missouri High School, class of 1966. She married Dennis M. Woods in Chesterfield, IL on December 4, 1982 and he died June 30, 2007. While lived in California, she was a sales coordinator for the Howard Johnson Motel chain for several years. Toni later manufactured specialty hospital supplies and that is when she met her husband, Dennis. The Wood's moved to Carlinville and Toni drove a school bus for Carlinville School District for four years. Toni made and sold crafts on E-Bay before retiring. She traveled numerous places selling her crafts. Toni was a Native American Indian from the Cherokee Tribe in Kentucky. Survivors: son, Bill Osborn of Portland, OR, son, Gaylon McAllister (Louise) of Eagerville, IL, daughter, Tina Marie Parish (Dan) of Carlinville, IL, sister, Kim Lawerence of Boise, ID, sister, Terry Maurene Freed (Charlie) of Robinson, IL, brother, Dean Warren Osborn (Robon) of Baker City, OR, brother, Randy Austin Osborn, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and a twin sister at birth. Funeral Information Private Memorial Service will be held at later date at the Woods Family farm in Chesterfield.
