Boente Family,

Out thoughts are with you today. One year has now come and gone and we know your pain is still so real. Enjoy each other today and know there are family and friends feeling a portion of your pain also. I woke today and saw that we had some rain last night. Luke and Ron wont let you guys enjoy your golf game today without a little mud and some wind. "It's raining again right now". Smile, he is with you every swing you take today.

I just read the Enquirer-Democrat that I received today and my heart is now broken. From the brief, but carefully worded description of your Lucas, I�m certain I would have enjoyed knowing him. He reminds me of my son. I send you a blanket of heart healing love. Remember Lucas� laughter and his joys and know that he still loves you as you still love him. I learned this from the death of my parents. I truly believe there is more to come. I will call you soon. Take care of you, Caperton

My mom (Sue Hampton) used to babysit Luke, Brooke, and Nikki. Luke and I would ride our bikes over to his Grandma Shirley's house and sit at the bar downstairs and drink a soda! We used to always ride our bikes down the big hill by Briar Creek and see how fast we could go!!! Luke I will miss you! God Bless!!

Greg, Tink, Brooke, and Nikki; Your family is in my prayers. I could never imagine losing someone so close to me. Luke was such a nice person to everyone! If you walked into the gas station he would smile and strike up a conversation with you. He will be missed! I pray that God will help your family to heel!

My memories of Luke go way back to when he and the girls came to my house everyday while you guys worked. Luke was so fun to have around even when he was supposed to be walking over to grandma Shirley's, but stopped at Nate Starr's house and played, until I caught him hiding in the bushes, oh well, boys will be boys, he will be sadly missed by all.

Greg,Tink,Brooke,and Nikki- I don't know even where to begin. Our families have been so close for so long. Luke was a great kid and my family and I loved him very much. He was always there to lend a helping hand whenever we needed him to. I still remember him and I at my Aunt Amy's wedding as the ring bearer and flower girl. I wouldn't walk down the aisle so he said, Come on Kaitie, You can hold my hand.I will never forget that. He will be missed by everyone, but the good times he has filled so many people with will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss and if you guys ever need anything, ever, don't hesitate to ask.
