Obituary of Donald Keith Boston

Donald Keith Boston Donald Keith Boston, age 67, of Carlinville, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 10:05 A.M. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Keith was born March 5, 1941, the older son of Donald Eugene and Thelma (Neighbors) Boston. He graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1959, and a few years later served his country as a MP in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Keith married Mary Ann Lira on October 20, 1966 in Carlinville. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2001. He owned and operated Keith's Radiator Shop in Carlinville for many years. Keith was a member of Carlinville B.P.O.E. 1412, and served as the Exalted Ruler in 1971-1972. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Keith is survived by one son: Laverne (wife: Kimberly) Boston of Litchfield, two granddaughters: Veronica and Amanda Boston, one brother: Roland E. Boston (wife: Ginnie) of Carlinville, one niece and four nephews. Several great-nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Information Memorial Services will be held Sunday, April 27th, at 6:30 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. The Rev. Wayne Shipley will officiate. The Elks Ritual will be conducted by B.P.O.E. 1412 at 6:15 P.M. Friends may call from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
