Nellie Mae Bramley, 94, of Carlinville, formerly of Chesterfield, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at her residence.
She was born Saturday, June 12, 1915 in White Hall, Illinois, the Daughter of the late Thomas Clothier and the late Dora (Peters) Clothier. She married Joseph Becker on April 15, 1942 and he passed away in October of 1964. She then married Harold W. Bramley on December 30, 1964 and he preceded her in death in October of 1968.
She was Homemaker. She was a member of the Coronerstone Class of Chesterfield Bible Church. She loved crocheting, embroidering, and puzzles. Most of all, her family was her life.
Survivors: Son, Lewis Becker (Laura Mae) of Modesto, Daughters, Lucy Coffey (Duane), Carolyn Releford (Nelson) both of Hettick, and Joyce Hudgins (Ronnie) of Chesterfield., 22 Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, 16 Step-Great-Grandchildren, 24 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Sisters, Agnes Bizaillon, and Lena Story (Roy) both of Jerseyville. Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Paul T., Bobbie E., and Arthur Becker, Granddaughter: Velma Becker, Grandson: William Lewis Becker, Great-Granddaughter: Taylor Decker, 3 Brothers: James, Andy, and Carl Clothier, 2 Sisters: Rosella Clothier and Wreatha Fields. Funeral Information
Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 4 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Services: 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Pastor Jim Allen will officiate the service.
Burial: Hettick Cemetery in Hettick, IL Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Carlinville Senior Citizens Center or Staunton Home Health.
