I am sorry for your loss. I knew Daniel in passing but even then my memory paints a kind guy who liked to have a good time with family and friends. He was always nice to me on the softball diamond as an opponent. My thoughts and prayers go out to all he left behind.

I'm so saddened by Daniels passing. I just spoke to him 2 weeks ago. Daniel always made me smile. I will never forget his boyish charm. I worked with him at Walnart in 07 and have remained friends. To the Duncan Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I have to pass along these words to you, Daniel and I were in the same training company for basic and MP AIT where we shed our childish ways and became men of honor, integrity, courage, loyalty and duty. Your son was always a welcome spirit in times of hardship and brought with him a cheerful attitude that many of us cherish to this day. His jokes and his laugh could take even the harshest days with the Drill Sergeants and make them easier. He was a hard charger as some in the ARMY may have put it and I know that his time there wash short and we did not get a chance to serve in war together but take solace in the knowledge that I would never have had any doubts in his ability as a warrior and a military police officer and my time overseas would have been brighter had he been there with us. I will miss him deeply, and like any soldier lost, I will never let his memory fade.
