Obituary of Ronald G. Falter

Ronald G. Falter, age 72 of Edwardsville, passed away Thursday morning, December 31, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Ron was born March 7, 1943, in Carlinville, IL, a son of Joseph and Bessie Louise (Smith) Falter. Ron graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1961 and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Il. He married Carole Anderson March 28, 1964, in Carlinville, IL. Ron retired from Boeing in St. Louis, MO in Production Control. He retired with 40 years of service in 2005. Ron enjoyed traveling, fishing,hunting, gardening, and time with his family. He had a special affection for his Yorkies. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Nelson Falter. Family and friends may call on Sunday afternoon, January 3, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 am, Monday, January 4, 2016 at Davis-Anderson. Burial will follow in Carlinville City Cemetery, Carlinville, IL. Ron is survived by his wife, Carole of Edwardsville, IL, daughter, Rhonda Lee Johnson of Edwardsville, IL, grandsons, Christopher and Alexander Johnson of Edwardsville, IL, sister, Linda Moore of Medora, IL, sister, Amy (James) Smith of Valerico, FL, sister-in-law, Shirley Falter of Carlinville, IL, step-brother, Delmar (Dorothy) Stratton of Plant City, FL, several nieces and nephews.
