James Judson "Judd" Enslow, 88, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 7, 2016 at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL.
Judd was born on October 12, 1927 to Leon Judson and Grace L. (Boston) Enslow in Atwater, IL. He graduated from Girard High School with the class of 1945. Judd married Rosemary Eileen Belk on November 13, 1948 in Carlinville and she preceded him in death on March 8, 1993. He then married Beulah M. "Behl" Sharp Bouillon on September 1, 2000 in Atwater, IL and she survives.
Judd proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from December 10, 1951 to December 3, 1953 during the Korean War. He farmed in the Atwater area for most of his life and also worked for MandM Service Company as a propane delivery driver, retiring in 1993. Judd was a life long member of the Atwater Christian Church. He was also a member of the Carlinville Moose Lodge and the Guy Baird American Legion Post in Carlinville. Judd enjoyed spending his free time with his grandchildren, traveling and riding his bicycle.
Judd is survived by his wife, Beulah Enslow of Carlinville; two sons, Mark (Toni) Enslow of Girard and Scott Enslow of Atwater; step daughter, Debbie (Kenny) Bouillon of Carlinville; two step sons Glenn Sharp of WI and Larry (Debora) Sharp of Carlinville; 6 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several step great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Judd was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Rosemary Eileen Enslow; daughter, Carla Enslow; grandson, Tyler Robert Enslow and a brother, Leon A. Enslow.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.
Memorial services will follow at 10:30 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Girard Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Guy Baird American Legion Post in Carlinville.
