Condolences
To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises. www.JW.org
My sympathy to all of you at the loss of your death mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
Reba was my home room teacher freshman year of high school, and taught us social studies. A wonderfully bright, kind, caring woman.
So many of us cherish her goodness and carry her memory.
May she rest in peace, Amen!

Dee Ann and Joy...... So sorry for the loss of your Mother. I didn't have her as a teacher, but always thought she was the nicest & prettiest lady.. I know she will be greatly missed. You and your familues are in my prayers.
Words cannot express how much we loved and now miss Aunt Reba. Visiting her the last two years, we feel very lost at not being able to see her again and be met at the door by the Dukester. We will try to heed her wise words and we cherish the time we were able to spend with her. She was such a very special person. Wishing each of her family comfort at their loss
Our Condolences to the family of Reba. In her retirement, Reba substitute taught for me at Carlinville Middle School and did an outstanding job. She and I became good friends and enjoyed each other's company. (This can be said for the rest of the staff as well.) She was a kind and an elegant lady, often with some definite ideas, whom both Carolyn and I both respected. She will be missed, but not forgotten.
very beautiful lady and will be sadly missed. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Jim and Janet Shade
Mrs Borman was a beautiful and classy teacher. She always had a smile on her face, and no matter what time of the day, she always had time for students and their troubles. She will be deeply missed but we know she has been brought home as the Lord needed one fine teacher to help him with all his work!!! Rest in Peace Mrs Borman!!!!
Dee Ann and Joy Lea - Although I won't be able to attend the services, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you - you have my deepest sympathy.
Our prayers are with the family at this sad time. Mrs. Borman was a wonderful, beautiful woman inside and out. We had the privilege of being neighbors for a short while, and it didn't take long to realize we had moved into a very friendly and close neighborhood. You are all very blessed to have had her in your lives. God bless you and keep you in your beautiful memories of her.
Dear Joy and Dee Ann and families,
Please accept my deepest sympathy upon the death of your Mom. She lived a full and long life. As a teacher, she impacted the lives of many students. I was in your mother's classroom when they announced over the school intercom that President Kennedy had been shot. I am just one former student and this is just one moment in time. There are scores more I'm sure.
Joy you were my classmate at CCHS and DeeAnn you were in sister Robin's class. We shared many things and so I ask that God may grant you all comfort and strength through the grace of HIS love.
In sympathy,
Gail Stump
Sorry girls for the loss of your mother. She was wonderful at what ever she did. Will be missed in the neighbor hood.
My love and prayers of sympathy go to Dee Ann and Joy Lea and their families. Reba was a dear neighbor and friend of mine and always so very kind to me and my family. My son, David and his son, Andy, have always appreciated the kindness shown them by Reba and Byron. She will be missed dearly in our Home Extension as well as in our Charity Church family. This community shares in the loss of a wonderful teacher and friend.
What a pleasure to know Reba and Byron. Both of our children had Reba for a teacher way back when.
My deepest condolences to the family! You will all be in my prayers!
So sorry for your loss, she will be missed.
My condolence to all of you. I wanted to say I was a student of Mrs. Borman (1969) when she was teaching social studies at the Junior High, and I very much enjoyed her class. She was also a co-worker and friend of my Grandmother Martha Haycraft, who spoke highly of her. You can be proud of the work that she did. She touched many lives via her teaching and community service. She was such a nice lady, I'm sure everyone will miss her.
Happily remember Reba & Byron & call them friends. She was quite a lady! So many good times snowmobiling & sharing STL Cardinal baseball stories.

Our sincere sympathies to Reba's family. She was always such a beautiful lady, inside and out. Her lovely smile, her charm and friendliness will be sadly missed.
We are so sorry to hear of Reba's passing. The " youngest " 96 year old ever!! Loved by many as a teacher.
Mrs. Borman was my first and second grade teacher at Chisholm School and I was fortunate to be in her class again in fifth grade at South School. She was a wonderful teacher and a real blessing to my life. May you be comforted by God in your loss.
As a 5th grader, I was a girl with awful penmanship. By the end of that school year, she helped me improve my writing so much that I received many compliments during my career. Thank you Reba.
Caring thoughts, heartfelt sympathy, and prayers. Mrs. Borman was an outstanding educator - professional, caring, understanding, patient, always prepared. Her classes brightened my days. Wishing the family: a song in your hearts; a rainbow after the rain; sunshine after the clouds; peace; faith; cherished memories.
Joy Lea and Dee Ann,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother.
I have great memories of her and you guys when we lived in the country. May God comfort you at this time.
My family and I offer our condolences to each one of you. This past year getting to know Reba during several visits in her home, in the hospital and a few times at church has been a pleasure. Hearing her speak about her family, her years of teaching at various schools and her service to God at Charity.
She was a very kind and caring woman, that spoke her mind. It was a great honor getting to meet her and to know her for the short time that we were able to do so. We will continue to pray for your family.
My prayers and memories are with all of you. I got to visit Chisolm School the spring before I entered first grade and loved that day. I had Mrs. Borman as a fifth grade teacher and will always remember her beautiful handwriting and the attitude she showed us toward learning.
The Borman family has always had a place in the Mayo family. Byron and Leland were like brothers and it was fun to watch them interact with each other. Reba and I were in Home Extension together. I appreciated her education emphasis on things pertaining to our unit and she was an encourager to me in my possition. We were always welcome to visit her. We will miss her!
