Obituary of Lola Lee Hall

Lola Lee Hall , age 75 of Carlinville, passed away Friday morning, August 5, 2016, at the Friendship Home in Carlinville, IL. Lola was born June 9, 1941, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Paul and Helen (Dunham) Lynn. Lola graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1959. She married Elder Perry Hall on February 7, 1960, at the First Baptist Church in Litchfield, IL. Elder Hall went to be with his Lord on September 20, 1997. Lola was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her son Russ and working along side with her husband in the ministry. She loved cooking and crocheting. Lola was a member of the Concord Primitive Baptist Church in Palmyra, IL. She loved her church, family and friends. Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Jack Lynn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, IL. Lola is survived by her son, Russ (Kim) Hall of Carlinville, IL, grandchildren; Shelby and Logan Hall, sister, Carol (Frank) Durbin of Gillespie, IL, sister-in-law, Charlotte Lynn of Bristol, WS., sister-in law, Mary Ellen Brown of Carlinville and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Concord Primitive Baptist Church. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
