Obituary of Terry Lee Fairclough Jr.

Terry L. Fairclough Jr., 46, of Springfield, IL, passed away Tuesday evening, August 9, 2016 at his residence in Springfield, IL. Terry was born on February 21, 1970 to Terry L. Sr. and Sharon (Owings) Fairclough in Springfield, IL. He attended Lanphier High School in Springfield where he played football and wrestled. Terry married Monica Ritter on February 14, 1995 and they later divorced. He married Amber Elliott on December 31, 2015 in Springfield, IL. Terry worked as a carpenter for the State of Illinois through the Illinois Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 16 in Springfield. He was a member of I Worship in Springfield and enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Terry is survived by his father, Terry L. Fairclough Sr. of Springfield; mother, Sharon Fairclough of Springfield; wife, Amber Fairclough of Springfield; two daughters, Shantel Nicole Randle and Kayla Michelle Fairclough both of Springfield; son, Michael Fairclough of Springfield; two step daughters, Nevaeh Hamande and Katie Hamande both of Springfield; 5 grandchildren; Natieanna Britts, Saniya Britts, Devante Cook, Ameriya Fairclough, Bayliana Randle, half brother, Sean Fairclough of Springfield, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will take place in Union Chapel Cemetery, rural Girard, IL. Memorials are suggested to the Fairclough family. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
