Obituary of Sandra L. Wise-Hanson

Sandra L. Wise Hanson, 71 of Carlinville, passed away Sunday evening, May 14, 2017, with family and friends by her side in Carlinville, IL.

Sandra was born January 21, 1946, in Charleston , WV, a daughter of Fred and Madeline (Massey) Griswold.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Don Wise in 1995 and Reginald Hanson in 2011 and brother, Fred Griswold Jr.

Sandra retired in 2011 after 20 years with Prairie Heart in Springfield, Il with the Medicare Billing Department. She enjoyed traveling, sports, such as the St. Louis Cardinals and West Virginia Basketball, playing bridge and spending time with her family.

A gathering of friend and family will be held Tuesday evening , May 16, 2017, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.

Private family services will be held.

Burial will follow at a later date.

Sandra is survived by her companion, Gary Vogle of Carlinville, IL, son, Kevin (Amy ) Wise of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Deborah (Scott) Rohr of Grafton, IL, grandson, Brandon (Diana) Wise of O'Fallon, IL, granddaughter, Paige Wise of Edwardsville, IL, grandson, Randall (Ashley ) Rohr of St. Robert, MO, granddaughter, Theresa (Nathan ) Medlock of Alton, IL, grandson, Shane (Mayline ) Rohr of Killeen, TX, granddaughter, Annette Rulo of Grafton, IL, 7 great-grandchildren and brother, Jim (Deb) Griswold of Glen Daniel, WV.
