Dear Jon, Teri, Kay, Josh and Dalton, you have our deepest sympathy in the loss of Madge. We know she will be missed by you. You all took such good care of her at your place. Kim and I were looking at the photos and the one looks so much like Jo-Dee and Kay. Beautiful! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to your family. Your Mom was very kind to my parents. I used to babysit at your house when she worked nights. She worked hard and was respected by those who knew her.

Madge was one of my Mom’s roommates at Heritage. Madge was a gem. She would tell me about how she used to run a place “like this”. And I would tell her about how she took care of my Grandpa Opper at the old county home. She would always ask me if she was good to him. Yes, she was. She was a good nurse. She loved to just sit and talk. We would talk about the old county home and how she was almost 100. One day she told me “It’s Hell to get old. You can’t see or hear anymore. Remember I warned you when you get there”! And I would bring her cards as she loved to play “Old Sol”. I am going to miss her!!!
