Obituary of Helen Kathleen Rasure

Helen Kathleen Rasure, 85, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday evening, May 9, 2018 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Helen was born on April 28, 1933 to Norman and Esther (Roland) Hubele in Carmi, IL.

She married Wayne Cyril Sanders in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1962. She later married Clarence Rasure in 1977 and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Helen retired from Carlinville Area Hospital as an LPN and enjoyed reading, animals, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Helen is survived by two sons, Gary Wayne (Gretchen) Sanders of St. Helen, OR; David Lee (Diane) Sanders of Springfield, IL; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Leroy Hubele of OH, Vernon Hubele of Carmi, IL, and Richard Hubele of Norris City, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; infant son, Michael Sanders; 2 brothers, Bob and Kenny Lee Hubele, and a sister, Joyce Mellentin.

No services will be held at this time.

Helen will be buried in White County Memorial Gardens, Carmi, IL.

Memorials may be given to the Animal Protective League in Helen's name.
