Condolences
So sorry to hear of Mrs. Leefers passing. My condolences to the family.
John and I are saddened to return from vacation and hear of LuAnn's death. She was a dear friend and wonderful role model for community service. We got to know LuAnn while serving together on the Landscaping Committee for Ss Mary and Joseph's. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her wonderful family.
To Mary, David, and all the Family,
We know that the life cycle here on earth is not really very long, and yet 89 years is truly something to celebrate! We send our prayers for the comfort of beautiful memories, and the promises deeply rooted in your Faith, to bring you strength and peace. Your dear mother leaves a beautiful legacy in the family she has reared, and the children, and many grandchildren who will carry it on! We regret that we were unable to be present with you during these challenging days, but know that you are ever in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Sending you love and wishes for peace. Donnie, Peggy, and Sarah
Thinking of your Mom makes me smile. We always felt like we were honorary members of your family. She was a very special lady. Just seems right for your Mom and Dad to be back together. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

To the Leefers family, I am so sorry for your loss.
So sorry for the loss of LuAnna. I loved my time on the Leefers farm; LuAnna always understood that I was more of a "city" girl. Prayers for the entire family. May you all find peace knowing that Peck and LuAnna are together again. Many friends are also waiting in Heaven to greet her including Jack and Judy. Love to you all.
What a fine, strong willed lady. Fearless in the face of adversity. The first to just dig in and get it done. I first remember LuAnn and Peck when I was about 10 years old (nearly 68 now) going to Farm Bureau Young Farmers pot luck dinners in the basement of the old Farm Bureau building. The Extension Service sent a man to teach farmers how to pour concrete the learning site was the floor of our new garage about 1957. Peck got hollered at by the teacher for using the wrong kind of trowel on the just struck off concrete. My Dad poked fun at him for another 50 years about that. I suspect that LuAnn was also there working in the kitchen with my mother to fix lunch for the 15 men in attendance. Over the years my parents (and I) enjoyed many trips, family vacations, dinners out, and New Years Eve celebrations with the Leefers. We went to Leefers home on election night to watch Reagan's re-election, we thought it would be a late night vigil but to everyone's relief it was a landslide and we could concentrate on each others company.
At any rate the point that I am trying to make is that Peck and LuAnn Leefers (and their family) have been good and long time friends of the Loveless family and they will not be be forgotten and will certainly be remembered often.
Rest in Peace you fine folks.
I am so sorry...Since I am visiting my grandchildren in WI, I am saddened I won’t be able to pay my respects to the family Wednesday. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lou Anne was such a special lady.
She was always the hostess with the mostest.
Anytime I came to Carlinville I would always come by to see her.
I spent my high school reunions at her home and she was such a gracious lady.
I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful cousin as her.
I will always have such precious memories of our times together.
She will be missed terribly , but is running in the green corn fields of heaven now with Peck.
I’ll see her again someday.
Mary, Dave and family
My deepest sympathies in the loss of LuAnne
