Obituary of Robert Wiggins

Robert Russell "Bob" Wiggins, 81, of Carlinville, passed away Thursday evening, September 27, 2018 at Heritage Hospice in Springfield, IL. Bob was born on October 25, 1936 to Kenneth and Ruby (Chism) Wiggins in Chesterfield, IL. He graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1954 and Brown's Business College in 1955. Bob married Jodie Talkington on October 5, 1957 in Shipman, IL. He and Jodie were married for 60 years. Bob was a Sales Manager for Prairie Farms Dairy in Carlinville for over 40 years. He was a member of Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, and the Knights of Columbus. Bob is survived by his wife, Jodie Wiggins of Carlinville, IL; son, Robert Anthony "Tony" Wiggins of Carlinville, IL; daughter, Joan Elizabeth Randazzo of Highland Ranch, CO; 4 grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Wiggins, Robert Joseph Wiggins, Sophia Randazzo, and Jack Randazzo, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Joseph Wiggins; brother, Donald Lee Wiggins, and a sister, Phyllis Denbrook. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Prayer Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 3:45 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018, at 10:00 am at Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, IL, with Father Michael Haag officiating.
