Obituary of Henra Ellen Van Ausdall

Henra Ellen Van Ausdall, 62 of Virden, passed away Sunday evening, October 7, 2018, at the Auburn Rehab Center in Auburn, IL.

Henra was born November 22, 1955, in Wood River Twsp., IL, a daughter of Henry E. and Genevieve (Corrington) Sheneman.

Henra graduated from Northwestern High School with the class of 1973.

She married James R. Van Ausdall, February 20, 1998, in Carlinville, Illinois.

Henra was preceded in death by her parents.

Henra attended classes to become a CNA. After receiving her certificate, she worked at several area nursing homes caring for the elderly. A job she had a real passion for.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL. At her request, there will be no funeral services held.

Burial will follow in Shipman Cemetery, Shipman, IL.

Henra is survived by her husband, Jim R. Van Ausdall of Virden, IL; daughter, Lisa Brown of Virden, IL; son, Jim VanAusdall of FL; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and a sister, Cheris (Dean) Whitford of Hettick, IL.
