Obituary of Dora J. Warren

Dora J. Warren, 90 of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 10, 2018 at Helia Health Care in Champaign, IL. Dora was born June 25, 1928, in Roxana, IL, a daughter of Archie V. and Virginia (Scoggins) Fitzgerald. Dora graduated from Bethalto High School with the class of 1946. She married Carl D. Warren, October 11, 1946, in Cottage Hills, IL and he passed away March 20, 2009. Dora raised her family and later joined the Merle Norman Cosmetic sales team at the store in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, MO and attended the Carlinville United Methodist Church in Carlinville. Dora was a past member of the Chesterfield Eastern Star. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Mark Warren, brothers, Kenneth, Ernest, and Lloyd Ornellas and sister, Opal Yoder. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 2:00 to 3:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL and funeral services will take place at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Carlinville. Dora is survived by her daughter, Dixie (Dennis) Heyen of WA., son, Jeff (Julie) Warren of Champaign, IL, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Frances Stucker of Edwardsville, IL, sister, June Crawford of Godfrey, IL and several nieces and nephews.
