Obituary of Evelyn Louise Sanson

Evelyn L. Sanson, 93 of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 24, 2018, at Heritage Health Care in Carlinville, IL.

Evelyn was born October 1, 1925, in Palmyra, IL, a daughter of Clarence and Opal Stults Wyzard.

She married Lawrence E. "Bill" Sanson, May 12, 1945, in Carlinville.

Evelyn was a homemaker and farm wife, cooking and baking some of the best meals you would ever have for numerous men who were helping on the farm.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville and enjoyed tole' painting, cooking, baking and listening to music. While residing at Morse Farms, she enjoyed playing domino's with her friends after lunch. Evelyn loved to root for St. Louis Cardinal's on game day.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence E. "Bill" Sanson on May 8, 1997 her faithful dog Holly and sister, Melba Ann Griffith.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 117 West 2nd South, Carlinville, IL.

where Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday,October 29, 2018 at the church.

Burial will follow in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Carlinville.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Judy (Doug) Crabtree of Waggoner, IL, Carolyn (Ron) Killion of Springfield, IL, Sandra Sue (Rich) Bowman of Chesterfield, IL, son, Gary (Lesa) Sanson of Grapevine, TX, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
