Obituary of Shirley Jean Caudle

Shirley Jean Caudle, 83 of Carlinville, passed away Sunday evening, January 26, 2020, at Carlinville Rehab and Health Care in Carlinville, IL surrounded by her family. Shirley was born June 5, 1936, in Williamsville Missouri, a daughter of William Kelly and Mary Frances (Bilbrey) Warren. She married Earnest Lee Caudle June 3, 1954 in Carlinville, IL and they were devoted to each for over 64 years. Shirley was a homemaker took care of her entire family including her grandchildren. She loved meeting with her sisters on Saturday night to catch up on the latest news. She was a great seamstress and made alot of her grandkids clothes. She enjoyed keeping a tidy and clean home which reflected in her shiny kitchen floors. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earnest Lee Caudle, son, Gary Lee Caudle, daughter, Melinda Diane Mikalauski, grandchildren, Amber and Brian Caudle, great granddaughter, Britinee Lee Meyers, grandson-in-law, Dylan Kiehna, sister, Patsy Warren, sister, Evelyn Oller, sister, Peggy Costello. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, January 29, 2020, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Wednesday following the visitation. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville. Shirley is survived by her son, Curtis Warren Caudle of Carlinville, IL, son, Michael Dean (Mary) Caudle of Carlinville, IL, son-in-law, Dennis Mikalauski of Carlinville, IL, daughter-in-law, Julie Caudle of Carlinville, IL, 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister, Juanita (Leroy) Bridges of Carlinville, IL, sister, Inez Nelson of Carlinville, IL and several nieces and nephews.
