I worked with Steve at Billie's Boathouse. We had a great crew. We nicknamed him Rag Man because he was always grumblingabout something ☺

He was a really goid cook and he took pride in his work. We had a club sandwich on the menu. He hated making them but they were the best. One day i put in a ticket for 4 clubs. He went ballistic--shouting f-bombs and all. That day lives on in my mind as it was about 40 yrs ago!

Steve was a good guy. Honest as the day is long.

RIP RagMan. My sincere condolences to your family.

Bob told me a story yesterday. When Bob started working in Springfield he lived with your grandma for 3 months before the kids and I moved down. He and Steve did a lot together. What wonderful memories.
